If you like sports, then Pattaya is truly the place for you and within minutes of your Villa there is a range of activities that would rival many more recognised sporting destinations. Probably the only thing you can’t do in the area is ski – though give them time and I’m sure they’ll fabricate some indoor winter sports arena like the one in Dubai.

Being a coastal resort, then water sports are certainly on the menu. Either off Pattaya Beach, Jomtien Beach or Koh Laan (one of the local islands), you’ll find enough water sports to get your adrenalin pumping. Whether you simply want to experience Banana Boats, fancy some parasailing or want to speed up and down the beach on a jet ski, you can’t go far wrong. The tropical climate and warm turquoise seas make Pattaya a great place to get into the water.
Alternatively, if you don’t like getting wet (and prefer a bit of air-conditioning to make the physical exertion easier), why not try Tony’s Spa and Gym. You’ll find a state of the art, fully equipped gymnasium where you can work off the excesses of the previous night’s restaurants.
To make the best of the outdoors, you can try your hand at shooting at the Pattaya Shooting Range and Fishing Park (the sound of the shooting helping to drown out some of the Karaoke from the Fishing Park). This is very reasonably priced and has a wide range of guns, ammunition and targets across 20 lanes.
For those looking for a more sedate occupation, how about some Lawn Bowling at the Bowling Green, Soi Fuengfa (between Pattaya 3rd Road and Soi Buakhao). Full waitress service, dining facilities and equipment hire are available.
