Pattaya Discos
Similarly to the bars, in Pattaya’s discos and night clubs, waitress/waiter service is the norm. The eagle eyed staff will ensure you’re never waiting long between drinks and, if there’s a group of you, it’s possible to get bottles of spirits and mixers for a reasonable price or even, with some establishments, bring your own bottle (where you’ll be charged corkage and expected to buy your mixers from the club).
In general, there are always live dancers and some degree of live (or mimed) music. A mixture of Thai and Western pop is to be expected and a good time is guaranteed.
Try, for example, Tony’s Entertainment Complex on Walking Street. This is a popular late night venue for those wishing to do some serious dancing to a mix of live and DJ-provided music. This is a vast place with ample seating (including some raised seating for a better view of the stage).
Alternatively, try Exzyte Pattaya on 3rd Road - as popular with locals as it is with tourists. Again, a varied mix of live music and the latest disco tunes are available for the late-night revellers.
Hollywood Pattaya, just off South Pattaya Road, is another venue, along with Lucifer and Palladium to name but a few.
