There are three large scale cabaret shows in Pattaya; Tiffany’s, Alcazar and Alangkarn.
Established in 1974, Tiffany’s http://www.tiffany-show.co.th was Asia’s first Lady Boy cabaret show. Their current 1000 seat theatre allows you to witness a ‘Paris Style’ cabaret show performed by over 100 artistes in intricate costumes. Through the show, you’ll be treated to a themes such as Thai history, Ancient Chinese history, Broadway inspired spectacles and Jazz dance.
Alcazar, almost twenty years old now is another fantastic Lady Boy show. You’ll be dazzled by both its state of the art theatre (the very best in lighting and sound systems) and the dancing, singing and impressions performed by the talented artistes. Over a million visitors have now passed through its doors.
Alangkarn http://www.alangkarnthailand.com is, in fact, far more than a cabaret show – it’s a whole complex. Within the attraction you’ll find a wide range of cultural exhibits, a restaurant and, of course, the 2000 seat theatre. The show itself goes well beyond typical Thai traditional dancing. They have succeeded in broadening the concept into an introduction to what it means to be ‘Thai’.
The spectacular show (which features magnificent elephants) is accompanied by pyrotechnics, fabulous laser light shows and state of the art surround sound.
